"Fogged In"Today was 'Paint the Port' and it was supposed to rain. I woke up around 6 a.m. and showered, and headed out to paint when I saw the ground was drying. I wasn't supposed to register until 8 a.m. but I wanted to get a jump on the weather. My husband came to help... I did my sketch and we set up the pastels and I started to paint. after half an hour it started to sprinkle. Pastel and water don't mix! So we packed up and I had to finish the painting in my studio. The auction was at 6 p.m. - what fun! Most of the paintings sold, including mine... I'm bushed and I'm happy!
