This next jewelry project is time-consuming and very delicate. I am making a wire setting for 2 pieces of sea glass. The setting is shaped and soldered... I had it in the pickle to clean it but ran out of time in class. I will finish it in the next session.
You can see how it's fabricated especially in the top photo. The lower prongs will be cut off and sanded and polished and the top 'u' prongs will be cut and the glass inserted for proper fit and then they will be cut to the appropriate length and bent. Then more polishing... Check back to see it finished in a couple of weeks!
