Tri-Color Ring

An advanced project.. this tri-color ring began as 2 stands of wire, soldered at the ends and then twisted, cut into 3 equal-length strips and soldered together. Once filled, it was rolled in a rolling mill several times and then cut to the correct length for the ring size I was making, filed until it was flat and straight, and soldered.

I shaped it on a ring mandrel and then filed it and polished it. The scalloped edge was created by the original twists of wire, which is quite lovely!
