Jazz

Many of my recent horse paintings have been inspired by Jazz, a handsome 9 year old gelding born in captivity. His sire being a mustang and his mother a POA, he definitely shows the best of both breeds and is being cared for at the Ever After Mustang Rescue, Biddeford, ME until he finds his forever home. His winter coat is pure white with black mottling around his mouth and nose, but shedding out reveals large black spots on the skin surface of his chest and sides. Truly unique.

At 14 hands the mustang heritage reveals a stocky, solid body, strong durable legs, great hooves, a kind and curious eye and a real desire to please. He is able to be ridden and often comes to see me when I am at the rescue. I took this photo of him when I visited this week.
